Description
The BLR is ready and waiting to be your first – or next – lever-action hunting rifle. The combination of a detachable box magazine and a strong, multi-lug bolt allows it to be chambered for modern hunting ammunition, including magnum calibers. The lightweight aluminum receiver houses the smooth operating rack and pinion action and is also tapped for scope mounts to take full advantage of the rifle's range and accuracy. A folding, four position hammer is an added measure of safety in the field. The sights include a low-profile, adjustable square notch rear sight and a high-visibility front blade with gold bead fitted on a raised ramp-style base.
The pistol grip BLR stock is contoured for maximum comfort and the flared Schnabel fore-end tip adds a classic touch of style. The stock also has a deep, glossy finish that brings out every nuance of the wood’s warm color and grain. The recoil pad helps reduce felt recoil and flinching. Steel sling swivel studs are pre-installed for easy mounting of a sling or bipod.
